Maxima recently completed the construction of the largest and most modern Carbon Dioxide (CO2) production facility in Israel.
The facility was completely designed and built in Israel under the leadership of an international expert in this field who joined Maxima’s team 3 years ago. The plant was designed to meet the highest quality and safety standards in the industry in order to meet the requirements of the soft drink and drinking water desalination customers.
The facility is equipped with large storage capacity to guarantee un-interrupted supply to Maxima’s customers. The plant also includes a state of the art quality assurance laboratory capable of monitoring continuously the quality of the CO2 at multiple points in the production process.
The production process was designed with sufficient equipment redundancy to provide a high level of reliability as well as efficient turndown capabilities.
The source of the Carbon Dioxide product produced in this facility is a by-product from a process of an adjacent chemical plant that was previously vented to the atmosphere. In this manner Maxima also contributes to reducing CO2 emissions.
A truly Green facility.
